Appropriate for Father's Day

Nice :)

Every time I hear stories like that, I can't help but wonder what would happen if the photos were on a 70 years old digital storage device. Would there be computers around that could read the files? Would anybody recognise the value to start with and not just throw it away like I recently did with all old diskettes? Digital files should in theory last forever as opposed to film. But in the real world, that is not always the case.

David, what a fantastic and heartwarming story. Most definitely appropriate for a Father's Day Celebration and for you to have access to your own history and of someone close to you, is icing on the cake. Simply lovely!
