I dealt with Morgan Sparks / www.cameraleather.com

You have the Option of many Skins...
To do it Yourself /Wet Method makes it easy...
OR
Morgan can Do the Restoration for You

Let me know which skins YOU like ...
I like the Cobra.. It must be one of skins one needs to email him about.

Now a Gila monster skin would be interesting.

COBRA was my FIRST Choice
but Morgan thought I may not like it
because the piece he had
was not as bright and contrasty as the one shown
But Yes COBRA was sooo Cooool looking

Jeez, where Did you Find the Gila Monster
in a Texan's backyard....

Helen, Very nice with your M2. What will Eric do with the M4?
I think the black lizard looks good on the M5 on the cameraleather site. My M5 could use some pimping. Please report back on the self-installation.

Natural Lizard for my M2....
Isn't she Pretty :ROTFL:

That's beautiful, but I'm pretty sure the lizard isn't happy about it. :D

I think you picked a good skin for your camera. It is ironic you 'leathered' your camera because I was thinking the exact same thing a couple days ago after reading in the forum above about the Ricoh GRDs with rubber grips that came off -- was thinking how cool it would be to replace with a piece of leather. I had no idea someone made camera leather. Thanks!

No, they are found farther west. But my buddy, Joel thinks I should put Diamondback Rattler on my old M3. Those we do have in the backyard. This six footer was taken about 5 miles from my house.

I had a rattler on my front porch not long ago. I caught him and kept him as a pet for a little while. :)

Veeerrrryyyy beautiful Helen!

I'm thinking I may need to get a Leica M camera, if only for this reason. ;)

I don't think a Leica R would look half as good in a lizard skin.

Darn...that means more $$ out the door. I've only got the one Leica lens....a 50mm Summicron-R I bought from Eric. The lens is beautiful, but it's not an M lens. :-(

Oh, Gary I bet you have Lizards in Alaska. You just aren't checking the right habitat. Check the parking lots of larger truck stops at night and I'm you'll find any number and species of Lot Lizards. But remember they are a protected species in that you can't skin them out for their hides.
