About delisting National Monuments--your voice

President Trump created an executive order to review National Monuments created after 1996 in order to have them delisted so private interests can exploit those lands. While the Antiquities Act of 1906 does not give any powers to delist a National Monument, this would be the first step in doing so. If you would like to make a comment to the Interior Department about this, you can do that here: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=DOI-2017-0002-0001

Currently, they are taking comments on Bears Ear National Monument. There will be more. The Interior Secretary Zinke has already made comments that Bears Ears will be delisted (although that will certainly be challenged in court), even though this "impartial" investigation has not been completed.
