Image Stabilized Binoculars

Anyone here with experience using one of Canon's IS binos? I'm looking to upgrade the binos I use for grab and go star gazing and have been thinking about one of these. Most likely the 18x50 IS or 15x50 IS models. Any other suggestions?

I like Leica binoculars a lot (Geovids or Ultravids.) If you can find a good set of WW2 Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars for a good price they are optically sound as well. I don't know much about stargazing equipment but I like those for my sporting needs.
