    Film is growing again

Kodak's film production has doubled the last four years. A large portion of the users are young people who hadn't even started taking photos when digital took most of the market.

No, film won't overtake didgital. It will be a niche, but hopefully it will remain a strong niche.

I was recently part of a special group order with Kodak for 5x7 Ektar. Not only was the fulfillment time to cut from about 8wks to 4 wks; the cost dropped from $9 per sheet to $6 per sheet since my last order about 2 years ago.

I have an industrial assignment coming up in a couple of weeks that will mostly be shot on 120 format Ektar (6x8 cm). We look very much forward to the shoot.
