Christian Poveda, whose work's often described as controversial, was a great reporter, documentalist and photograph. Some will say he lived a dangerous life... he was without doubt one the true witness of our times.

Notwithstanding the few responses, it's heartwarming to see that nearly a hundred people have seen this announcement.

Christian was a real humanist, always readily enthusiastic to talk about the people he was shooting and their lives, and less about technical aspects despite his colossal knowledge -his "retro-hyperfocal" technic vouch for it.

His work really deserves a closer look.
