For a bit of fun, Intensional Camera Movement in the Near IR. This is a Fuji X Pro2 with 23mm, f/2 lens and a 800nm cut-on filter. This is from Bailey Inland toward the Gulf of Maine. The white surf is created by the rocks on the northern tip of Jaquish Island at high tide. The ISO was cranked with an exposure of about 2 sec. in bright sunlight.

It has been a while since I had a dedicated IR cam. From earlier today with my new one.

Rohit, I love your captures but the output resembles regular visible light B/W than have any IR characteristics. I guess it is because of the PP you choose?

    Re: "Capturing Infrared"

850nm is more contrasty on this a5100 kolari camera, i also have a kolari converted nikon S1, which is 720nm and less contrasty, but rarely use it these days

i do add some contrast though to make things pop

here is a shot with the 850nm sony, same settings...as you can see its pure infrared

    Hi Everyone,
It has been too long since I could get some playtime with my IR 590 converted Fuji, so today I took it for a walk in the backyard.
I truly love IR black & white, but the color in the sky made this image a tad more interesting IMHO.
Hope you all are doing well, and thank you for all the lovely work you post.

    Kind regards,
    Darr

Nice capture! I need to go to Darien and photograph the shrimp boats some time. I pass there on the way to St. Simons Island a few times a year.

Thank you. Darien is a fun place to look around. Don't go on Monday (like I did), because the town seems to be closed up.
