    I was very intrigued by this camera. Having worked professionally with digital video for 8 years I'm a huge fan of video on DSLRs, and I'm still waiting for the day a DSLR will be able to replace a dedicated video camera. This is not the camera, though. You can get some truly amazing footage out of it, but it still has a nasty rolling shutter issue (aka jello effect) and the LCD has serious overheating issue (you cannot go on for more than 5 minutes without the camera shutting it down automatically).

    thanks for your comments. I think the rolling shutter is less an issue than the moire (even color moire). Still people shoot indie films with these kind of cameras. But then again I also wait for more.

    Right now this is the ideal starter camera for HD video.
