Thank you Bart, great question. Yup, greenish-blue.
I didn't hold my camera high enough and photographed through some foreground OOF conifers.
Oh well. I liked the sequence anyway.;)

Thank you very much Bart for pointing out this what seems to be a post-processing artifact.
In order to produce a GIF animation the images go through this sequence of processing apps:

• Capture One 23
• DxO PureRaw 3 <- de-mosaicing, optical correction, sharpening
• Capture One 23
• Adobe Photoshop 2024 <- align images
• Capture One 23
• DxO PhotoLab 6 <- post-processing, cropping, creating jpgs
• Capture One 23
• Adobe Photoshop 2024 <- creating GIF animation

Basically I only use Capture One 23 for storing and transferring the images to other apps.
Part of the problem with Capture One 23 is that it won't let me crop multiple images.

Here is the full image when first imported to Capture One 23.

And zooming in.

No bluish-purple tint.
So, there is no problem withe my Sony camera or lens.

Thanks again Bart for noticing and pointing out the issue, much appreciated. :D

What is that text on the bridges, K-H ?
Thanks Bart, great question.
I found the following information online:

Has anyone used US 84/285 freeway north os Santa Fe to Pojuaque? It is real pleasure to drive on,with Indian names on the overpasses, ( each overpass has a unique Tewa name on the overhead part of the overpass). The sound barrier walls have animal designs as well. It goes past a huge new casino here called the Buffalo Thunder, which opened last summer.

Thank you Bart, interesting , much appreciated.

This image shows downtown Pojoaque.

taken in mid-morning daylight.

And this is their resort Buffalo Thunder, a couple of miles down that road, referred to in your references.

Taken a few hours after the blizzard.

Quite a crash. That speed limit seems a bit optimistic given the circumstances. I wouldn't be surprised at all if those vehicles weren't equipped with winter tyres.

Thank you Bart, you are quite right.
My son was driving and I was taking pictures.
Depending on road and traffic conditions we were going at most 40 to 50 miles per hour.
It was fairly warm the day and night before, so no black ice on road, just snow and water.
Bad tires is always a bad idea. Along the way we saw several cars that had simply drifted into the ditch.
The cars were fine. Simply needed being pulled out.
The blizzard lasted only until mid to late morning, then visibility was quite good. No problem at all.
But snow was still on the road and got cleared later by snow plows on full size regular trucks.

I posted this image before, taken around 9 AM.

An hour and a half or so later going through this intersection in the opposite direction, it looked like this.

Good visibility, but slippery toad conditions.

Weather forecast seems to indicate 1 or 2 snow days per week for several weeks in a row.
That’s good for the local ski areas.
