With a lot of talk of Canon's heavy handed AA filters, has anyone tried removing it? I saw this link on another forum: http://www.maxmax.com/hot_rod_visible.htm

I'm using a Photoshop plug-in moire reducer from fredmiranda.comWhat can be done to remove moire effect, if deemed bothersome? Can people enlighten me, please?
I can post the pre-moire reducer photos this evening. Camera is the R8 with DMR (no AA filter), upper photo with 280 f/4 APO, lower with 560mm f/6.8 Telyt.Hi Doug, thanks for posting the two samples. By any chance, could you post one without the moire reducer, please? I would like to compare the two.... BTW, what camera did you use for both shots?
I sent mine off to maxmax on Wed. of this week. Hopefully will get it back mid next week. It's a new camera to me. Seller said about 2k clicks on it.With a lot of talk of Canon's heavy handed AA filters, has anyone tried removing it? I saw this link on another forum: http://www.maxmax.com/hot_rod_visible.htm
