Bounced Lighting vs Softbox

I always use a Softbox for my Portraits and Group shots. I was thinking about buying a 4x8 Foot White board that is used for V Flats and Bounce my strobe off of that .
A Bigger and softer lighting. Move it slightly behind me and Bounce flash off of it and will reflect the light forward. I know I will have no control over the light dispersed but it might be a Nice look for my shooting.
It might require another step up in ISO but Thats not a problem using my CMOS sensor. Any suggestions or critiques is gladly appreciated. It ight not look Professional BUT who cares. Thank you

I applaud you, Dennis, on your hands-on approach.
Post a picture you like from a shooting session with the setup mentioned.
Looking forward to seeing it.

Best to you,
Darr
