I'm curious. Curious as to where this will end. Sales are down, and in a way, I think that's a positive development. I don't need a new model every six months, and with lower sales, the manufacturers can't afford to launch new models at a rapid rate. I'm a bit surprised that mirrorless isn't closing in on DSLRs faster. At the moment, it looks like status quo.What's the point of posting this, Jorgen?

I think that equates to 500 million Sony cameras then?, or at least 500 million Sony sensors + some...Apple has sold more than 500 million iPhones since its introduction 7 years ago. Samsung sells more mobile phones than Apple.
