You should be ashamed of yourself . . . Sandend beach looks irresistible.Other places I didn't go swimming
I know Jono, I didn't go prepared for swimming and I don't think they would appreciate skinny dipping there. You should be ashamed of yourself . . . Sandend beach looks irresistible.
Saul's back for the weekend:

Who wouldn't appreciate skinny dipping? . . . there isn't anyone there! The knack of swimming unexpectedly is that you wait until nobody is within a reasonable distance . . . take off all your clothes - go swimming, stand about as long as feasible . . then put your clothes back on - don't make the mistake of trying to dry yourself with your shirt . . . the idea is that you don't need to carry anything extra. I did this at the Lido in Venice last October - just about where Dirk Bogarde breathed his last in Death in Venice. Vulgar? yep. Exhiliarating? yep! Arrested? nope!I know Jono, I didn't go prepared for swimming and I don't think they would appreciate skinny dipping there.
Thank you Diane - I was pleased with it as well (pity he still smokes though)I really like this one of Saul. Its so moody and evocative of 50's black and whites.
I dunno, Matt, that 67 rangefinder looks pretty undead to me. :ROTFL:Some non-zombie shots from today.

Thanks Jono. Yes, MF with the OMD is really an enjoyable experience.HI Carl
Great to see you hear (and rather unexpected). Focus peaking would be nice, but I've found that the IBIS holding it steady makes manual focusing pretty painless (and there's a kind of increase of contrast in the in-focus bits).
all the best
I think the point with the OMD is just that . . .it's an enjoyable experience! Thanks Jono. Yes, MF with the OMD is really an enjoyable experience.
