These cameras are part of an estate sale. I don't know anything about their history other than the fact that they belonged to a neighbor's uncle and have been sitting on a shelf for years.
First up is a collectible Leica III (circa 1930's?) with the rare Hektor 50MM 2.5 collapsible lens. The rangefinder has a built-in magnifier, which appears haze free as does the viewfinder window. Complete with well worn leather case, lens cap and hood. $845.00
Next is a Leica M3, with collapsible 50MM F2.0 Summicron lens, leather case in good condition, original box, hood and cap for the 50MM Summicron. The body appears to be in very good shape. The lens has no oil on the blades, glass has some dust, as one would expect, no apparent scratches or dings. Focus seems a bit stiff, probably from non-use for several years. $1130.00.
Insured shipping extra, no paypal fee with gift payment.
All the photos are of the actual items for sale and were taken 6/30/10. There are a few more photos available to be emailed for serious inquiries.
