Shooting 1:1 with Zeiss 100mm f/2 Macro lens

Hi everyone,

I have this lens and want to do 1:1 shooting (scan film negatives), what do I need to achieve that. My research shows that Nikon PN-11 will do the job, can anyone share comments? Thanks.

If you have a bellows for the F-mount, maybe try that. It then certainly goes to 1:1, most likely beyond. Handheld operations maybe be a little clumsy, but then 1:1 is a hand held challenge anyway.

I don't have the lens any more, but the PN-11 (at 52.5mm) will get you to 1:1.

I had no issues with its use.

You'll have to experiment to find the best aperture for best combination of resolution/flattest image.

Cheers,
Duff.
