Dan,This scene called for a 3:1 and done by three image nodal stitch. Lowcontrast in overcast light but still the fall colours were screaming and are actually dialed down a tad....
Just lovely. I am curious, why exposure blends; what is different from a single exposure with suitable PP?isle of skye
32HR, arca, 0.5 tilt, IQ380, blended several exposures
Thanks.Just lovely. I am curious, why exposure blends; what is different from a single exposure with suitable PP?
Now I understand what you mean (I was thinking different EV). Thanks. You should post this in Behind the Scenes.Thanks.
Couldn’t really get the right sky, mountain visibility, and the right water action all in one shot. The weather was pretty rough and there was very little time between the rain stopping and the tide exposing the rocks completely.
Well, they were different EV (fixed f). I did not want to get any movement in the sky, and tried to extract maximum details from the mountain in the BG and rocks in FG (not ideal for long exposure, I used ND for the water shot). Now I understand what you mean (I was thinking different EV). Thanks. You should post this in Behind the Scenes.

Sorry, missed this one...Dan,
Was this with the Canon mount Schneider PC 90 TS or larger format? Full sensor coverage?
