Too often a thread on a website regarding camera service features mostly negative comments or someone who had a bad experience or has an ax to grind. Recently I had to send in my 810 for a new shutter (I personally screwed it up!). I must say I had much angst turning it over to Nikon service in New York. Fears allayed - they did a two week turnaround, which I consider pretty good, and also adjusted my AF and upgraded the firmware. Anyway, I can give them a :thumbup:.
