Who says the M9 can't do sports....
Mostly shot with the M9 at ISO 640-800, with 135 tele-elmar at f/4.
UW Spring Football game, featuring Jake Locker (Heisman hopeful and Likely # 1 overall in '11 draft) and Nick Montana (son of Joe Montana, 49er's legent), the future star QB for UW.

Kurt: +1. Your Memphis photos really convey the city's character and life. Cheers, Matt.Wow!! Kurt, this is really stellar work!! Sure, the lens is killer, but the artistic eye with which you've deployed it is what's most impressive. Great set of images.:salute:
Thrice: +1. I think i can see you in his eyes. Cheers, Matt.Daniel,
That's an amazing portrait. The eyes are spooky. Wonderful use of depth of field. Makes the background all the more mysterious to me.
rayyan: Excellent capture! This is a photo to emulate: glass wall leads the eye to the apparent subject, which is out of focus twice, and then you discover the in-focus truck and courtyard! Well played. Cheers, Matt
A long slow journey..together.
Don: +1. I really like the isolation in the second to the last and the last panorama's beautiful. Cheers, Matt.Don. thank you.
Don: these are wonderful. #2 is dynamic. Can feel the rock about to move!
beautiful and graceful panoramic shots and lovely presentation.
Regards.
rayyan: +1. I like that you've pulled back and picked up a bit of her context (and her goats). Film-like quality. Cheers, MattWonderful Color & Composition Rayyan!
rayyan: Great, sitting at a sidewalk cafe, grabshot! Color and composition's perfect. Quick focus too, only the last lady noticed. Switzerland? Cheers, Matt.Lloyd: Stay safe. And one for the road.

Ashwin: +1, +1. I like the way that lens draws. It doesn't have the razor sharpness of the newest Leica lenses; but, it has that "Leica" character. The color head profile's very cool. Well done! Nobody told you to get a "real" camera? Cheers, MattA couple in color:

ps: Also like the headquarters of the evil empire photo and the crushed cans. Is there meaning to pairing these two photo's?
