The chimney like structures are called Koshki and are Svan medieval defensive structures over 3 stories high. Of course, there are rooms for rent for weary travelers inside!!

In freezing cold, I ventured out onto my hotel balcony...

Because she wanted a photo of herself, I labored up a hill to reach a monastery, on a Sunday. Not far from Tbilisi.

She took pictures inside. I found a slightly warm corner and tried to get my breadth back!!
