Honestly Quentin - we've had three go off now - no more chances - when the wax lights they go off like a flamethrower! One of them was 6" from a solid wooden wall, it burnt a 1/8" depression into the wood - seriously scary! What were you using, Jono, nitro?
These are above our dining room table.
HI MichielGreat view Jono! Any oxygen up there?

Lovely composition, Jono! I wasn't sure about the fuzz at the bottom (from the windowpane) but am sure it adds to the composition.Ahh - here's a view from our living room window!
NEX7 with the 18-200.
Actually, it was -20 up there, and as I can't shoot with skiing gloves on I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked. The images from the NEX7 are fine, but in that bright, high altitude light, neither the EVF nor the LCD were really visible to any reasonable extent.
Sorry if you've seen this in the NEX7 thread, this seems to be the place to be!
Thank you VivekLovely composition, Jono! I wasn't sure about the fuzz at the bottom (from the windowpane) but am sure it adds to the composition.
These pictures are excellent. Very good B&W work (the snow helps with the white )Gate (and church)
