Selling a black paint Voigtlander Color Skopar 28mm f3.5 LTM lens. The lens is in perfect condition, optically and operation wise. Cosmetically, there is a very thin paint scratch (about 1/16 of an inch long) about a quarter inch to the left of the “22” on the depth-of-field scale ring. Hardly noticeable. Apart from this, the lens is in mint condition. It comes with the original front lens cap and hood and a genetic rear lens cap.
According to Stephen Gandy's CameraQuest Voigtlander Leica M Lens INFO: The 28/3.5 LTM “is the smallest Voigtlander lens“, “These are probably the sharpest 28mm lenses ever made in Leica Screw mount” and “Only after it was discontinued has the 28/3.5*become a sought after legend.” Made of brass, the lens feels solid and compact. Finished in silver chrome and black paint, the later is much sought after, as usual. This copy is one of my two black paint collection.
Also accomplished with the lens, free of charge, are: a mint Voigtlander plastic 28mm brightline viewfinder and a Fotodiox Pro L-M (28/90) Adapter ($23 retails) with a genetic M lens cap. The finder is bright and clear. The adapter is 6-bit coded to Leica M 28/5.6 Summaron. Many users comment on online forums that this is a perfect profile for this lens on Leica digital M cameras.
Selling for 590.00, including PayPal fee and insured shipping (US Cont. only).
