    Enterprise U.2 SSDs do tend to last longer and have more spare flash than M.2 drives, especially at that capacity level. I buy used U.2 enterprise drives over new M.2 drives all the time, have not had any failures so far. I have had some M.2 drives fail! They do get hot though, and typically...

    It’s a manual focus adapter, aperture control only; the Phase One/Mamiya lenses are screw drive AF. While possible to integrate into a lens adapter, like some Nikon F to Z ones, it seems like a giant pain/engineering challenge to do. The contax and leica s kipon adapters are autofocus though.

    No idea - It is on CCDs though, which do sample twice (I think - to reduce the DC bias, I believe).I think it is destructive in CMOS typically as well?

    This is very clever in my opinion - In some ways, what machine learning is doing today is just matching an output distribution to an input distribution! (You could probably extend 14 bits to 16 using an image generation model, would it be better? IDK).
