In the first photo I find it interesting that the water ripples while the celestial bodies leave traces.
I assume the sky was added afterwards?
Or the front part of the photo superimposed on the sky?
How did you do that? :)

What you have noticed was forced upon me at the editing stage! I shot the sky and the scene together, but found that the floating object (it's the plug used to seal off the dry dock) was moving around so much that it turned into a blurry mess. So, at the final stage, I took individual frames of that area and layered them in - so what you see is a long exposure of the whole scene except for that specific area. It doesn't make visual sense, for the reason you describe, but it's better than the horrible mess it would be if entirely authentic.
