I am a Leica R and M user for many years now. I didn't buy the DMR nor the M8, prices being out of reach for one and second I consider electronic as non reliable with fast obsolescence so it should be ten time cheaper (ten being a way of saying of course).
My R6 still works perfectly beside the internal rubber coating going apart.
The next R body is probably going to score new price high ever, it is then easy, I won't buy it
Getting to digital, which is to my eyes "consumer products", it has to be cheap as it wont last, my idea is to get the entry price models. Leica will never produce a 400/600$ camera.
So here is the question, which camera brand to get for my Leica lenses ? I can cope with a cropping factor of 1.3 at the most.
In other words which brands have adapters to fit Leica lenses ? I know Canon is a possibility but where to get it and what are the limitations ?
What's about Pentax ? Olympus being half size sensor I am not interested due to cropping factor.
Many thanks for your answers.
Michel
