We are overwhelmed by this senseless deed of stupidity. The first two images are banners which are hung over two buildings on Calhoun St., one block from the church.
The second two were taken in front of the church today at noon.
The last image is of a local politician being told by the police, who handed the flier to him, of a planned demonstration by racists against the "White Supremacy". I was on the scene by pure accident and there were reporters all over the place. The politician is a peaceful man and a calm voice of reason during these times. All present were aghast that outside agitators appear to be coming here a rabble rousers. I don't know what the next few days will bring...
The Obama's are coming on Friday for the President to give the eulogy for the pastor of the church.
