Hi,
I was not aware of shutter failures on DF/DF+/XF bodies until recently, when it happened to my Mamiya DF+. Dealer's replacement would cost $1500 CDN. Pre-owned XF was $8k CDN. So, instead I decided to buy a used DF "donor" body for $700 CDN and see if the shutter from it fits and works. It does and it was pretty straight forward to do the swap. I made a video of the whole process. Hope it helps!
