Tether IQ180 to USB2

Hi all.

I hooked my IQ180 to my 2014 MacBook Pro USB port. C1 recognizes it. If I take photos using camera shutter release button, photos will appear in C1. However, when pressing the button in software, nothing happens.

Please advise

Thanks

I have no problems tethering my IQ3100 to a mid-2004 Macbook Pro via USB3, although I've noticed that one of the computer's USB ports is less reliable than the other. Have you tried plugging into both ports? There may also be an incompatibility between the back's firmware and the version of Capture One you're using. I'd check to make sure you're running with the latest firmware on your IQ180.

Thanks John. My computer usb is USB2 though, not 3. Not sure if that’s the main cause.

I will check other things you mentioned later tonight.
