Hermann, Leif; It makes one pause, and thank The Lord for His Blessings.

Kind regards.
Amen to that. Just when you think you have problems... Powerful, and as Leif said, important, image, my friend.

The others that preceded it are amazing... as yours ever are. :salute:

We took the train. Zermatt to St. Moritz. Glacier express. It moved like one too!

Anyway, last passengers to board. Late.

Group of people seated, talking. Ayesha and I went in.

Good Morning. There was a silence. Stillness. Everyone looked at me.

I removed my backpack. Eyes followed me. Put it on the seat. Eyes.

Ayesha removed her backpack and gave it to me. Some moved further away.

The train rolled. 8 hrs of whispering was in store. Hi folks, I said we are from
.... And you are from? Silence.

Took a little while. But had a real party on the train. Lovely journey.

Yup, thats me in there.

Beautiful, Rayyan, colours as well as composition.
Next year, I will buy a taller camera
D300 with 85mm f/1.8 @ f/3.2
Jorgen: This camera works quite well! Why bother with a taller one?

Rayyan: Beautiful color and framing!

I stopped here..
Ayesha had other ideas..
So off she went...
Taking the easy way.
Rayyan: Good place to stop! Your photos are always aesthetically satisfying, and, invariably pique my curiosity. Wikipedia:

"Annapurna I holds the highest fatality rate among all 14 eight-thousanders. As of 2005, there have been only 103 successful summit attempts, and 56 lives have been lost on the mountain, many to the avalanches for which it is known. Climbers killed on the peak include famed Russian climber Anatoli Boukreev in 1997, Christian Kuntner in 2005 and Iñaki Ochoa in 2008."

Ayesha, aka superwomen, is fearless! This is a beautiful photo of the peak!

Cheers, Matt

Rayyan: Certainly not, since we can't close our eyes to reality. But it really takes my breath away.
