This shot is from my D850 with a 28mm f1.8 G lens. Cropped to 3:4 and printed on canvas at 30x40.
This is the Elmer Tree in Joshua Tree National Park.
Apparently long ago when the park was still a national monument, a ranger named Elmer ate his lunch
in the shade of this tree everyday. Some say it's the oldest in the park. I've seen other big ones but
maybe not quite this big.
