That PL 200/2.8 is apparently one tough cookie ...Anyway, forget that adventure as the update seems to be officially out now: Olympus offers major firmware update for OM-D E-M1 II, E-M5 II and Pen-F | dpreview
:watch:
Many thanks Bart. Hmm, how about that! That PL 200/2.8 is apparently one tough cookie ...
For the same reach, yes. But for the same price ... :shocked:Many thanks Bart. Hmm, how about that!
It seems only the E-M1.2 that causes trouble and not the E-M5.2.
I better do the FW update now.
Although I currently have no plans to buy the PL 200/2.8.
However I am interested how the Sony FE 400/2.8 turns out. :facesmack:
Those two lenses seem to be competing for the same reach though.
Well Bart, you also get more metal and glass! :ROTFL: :ROTFL:For the same reach, yes. But for the same price ...
And right you are ! Better safe your buckazoids for that monstrous 400/2.8 ...Looking at this image I see no urgent need to acquire the PL 200/2.8 as well, also considering all my other FT, MFT lenses that cover the 280 and 400mm range.
