I'm curious if anyone has tried caffenol or caffenol-c as a developer? it's apparently more environmentally friendly and yields good results.

Yes, it's made with instant coffee.

Afraid I prefer orange juice (Xtol ).

I think there's a fair amount of discussion over at APUG, though since I'm not so much into home-brew, I haven't taken care to follow it all.

Also, have you seen this?

I tried this a few years ago with TMAX and it worked fine. Getting hard to find local C-41 film development (I like using XP-2) so I'm going to try using caffenol C-L with the XP-2 as well.

It is a nice developer for bw films.
