I like taking pictures of challenging available light situations with large dynamic range. Our local Library certainly poses these kinds of challenges for me. Here are 2 more images.

The Fuji GFX 50S is an excellent/superb tool for stationary/static subjects. :thumbs:
And those are the only subjects that I bought it for.
No disappointments at all! :thumbs:

In contrast for moving subjects, even just a little, it utterly fails. Over Thanksgiving I used the 50S to get pictures of visiting family members. I got many great images.

However when the grandkids started walking around, not running or such, particularly in available light, the 50S simply couldn’t complete focusing fast enough and failed, the white focus square in the EVF turning red instead of green.

No problem at all!
For those situations I have my Sony and Olympus mirrorless cameras.

Before I bought the 50S, I had read a review pointing out, that the reviewer couldn’t get any modestly active wildlife shots. So I knew what to expect.

However for those scenarios, the 50S was designed for, it does exceedingly well.
I find the Fujifilm GFX 50S worth having as a specialist tool.


PS: The Internet seems to keep changing all the time. At the moment I can’t see any of your images, even the ones which I could see a day ago. :banghead: However, I can view the images posted by others. That must be a clue, no?

Deciding on whether to keep the Nocti - one day no the other day yes....maybe I'll get an M to GFX adaptor? Any experiences from anyone out there re M lenses on GFX?
