Saw this recent announcement from Toshiba. They are evidently marketing the same flash units that are in the new MBA notebooks. Not sure if the 256GB would fit in the 11" model, but I am sure somebody will try ;-)

This got me wondering if something like this might be able to be squeezed into some spaces on other laptops, like the MBPs? Use something like this as the boot/apps drive, and have the HDD as storage, or replace it with another SSD for a super speedy machine. Of course one would need the connectors and some way to mount it, but..... :toocool:
