Hi Gerald, got your enquiry. I bought from Sony Shop in Hong Kong, and the menu has multi-language, standard I guess. I've heard forum friends said Japanese local version may lock with Japanese menu only. So u might better ask the seller directly to confirm this. I believe the seller is NOT selling local HK Sony items, perhaps import from Japan or elsewhere. Seller should able to confirm menu language. Cheers, Ray
