The OM-3, rebirth of a legend

Best OM-3 review ever. At least it confirms what I already should know; I don't need anything other than MFT.

    The Difference Is Creative Intent

This is highly individual. Except when shooting commercial jobs (where I shoot lots of photos "just in case"), I almost always shoot with intent. Often, I even lift up the camera, look through the viewfinder, but think... nah, not my photo. The parallell to other visual art forms is to me...

    ICC Profile

I doubt that paper suppliers do changes to the ICC profiles for each batch, unless there's a change of formula, something that will normally be advertised, at least by the quality suppliers. We are supposed to believe that the variations between batches are minimal. At least for Hahnemühle...

    Fun with "Obsolete" Nikons

Strictly speaking I could sell all of my stuff, just keep the F80 with the 50 mm and 85 mm f/1.8, add a D80 for $100 and a 20 mm f/1.8 for $300. I have a biiiiig box full of film in the fridge, and quality processing is $3-5 in this country. Chiang Mai, January 2010 D80 with Tamron 17-50 mm...

    Fun with "Obsolete" Nikons

I have gone through some not so recent film images, and found these two, both imperfect but when shot on film... The b&w photo shot on Ilford XP2 Super is grainy and the colour photo Portra 160 was 2 stops underexposed. Both taken with a Nikon F80 and Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 AF. The lock of the film...
