  • Hello Jorgen. I was reading some of your wall posts. I'm living in Tokyo now, but I'm headed over to Thailand and maybe Laos from 12/14 to 1/5. Mae Hong Son looks great. I'm planning on going to Chiang Mai, but no real plans while I'm there. I was considering going over to Laos and down the Mekong river, but plans are flexible. Do you have any recommendations of where to go?
    Hi Ray,
Since you are going up north, I would visit Mae Hong Son also. It's like another world. Read my description from last year here: From Here | Photos by Thor Jørgen Udvang

We should meet one day, shouldn't we?

    Hi Jorgen
I see you travel Thailand extensively and I'm hoping you may be able to give me a few pointers. The school holidays are imminent and I would like to take the kids (10 and 15 years old) around the country for sightseeing. My main interest is the west side ending in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. I will be traveling from Hua Hin.
My loose itinerary is Bangkok, Ayuddha, Kamphaeng Phet, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai stopping at interesting photo places.
Is there anywhere you feel of interest that I may have missed?
    Would appreciate your input
    Regards

    Ray

I've just email him to get his email address.
Would you mind getting an email he can contact you?
How long have you been living in Thailand? I am jealous of you as I miss Thailand so much. I only have a chance to visit Thailand for lectures or pleasure once in 2-3 years due to family and work obligation.

    I really appreciate it.

    Best regards,
    Pramote
    Hi Jorgen,

    I'd like to introduce myself.
I now practice medicine in Denver. I moved from Thailand 20 years ago but still come to visit Thailand as a regular basis. All my family are still in Thailand.
I've never been to Koh Chang. It is ashame!
I am wondering whether you can give my flickr friend some advice.
    I will really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Pramote
