to technikardan:
I owned the technikardan some years ago and let it go because the camera was not stable enough, also not really extreme wide angle ready.
I go for the much better solution: Technika 2000.
the Technika was much more stable, allows finer movements and allows to use even widest lenses.
also with the Linhof sliding back (special version for Technika) you could get the kind of precision in stitching and movements than with pancake Alpa, Cambo, arca.
So the movements were done with the sliding back , not with the camera.
So the Technika 2000 and the newest 3000 can give you similar precision than techno and you will find 2000 sometimes for good prices.
If you want even smaller option then you could also get the Technika 69, probably best in the last version. this will be also a more compact and more stabile solution than the technikardan.
Techno was last 2 weeks on eBay for 3400 euro in mint condition, so it is possible to get the techno for a nice price, but not in the second you wish. you need to take time for searching. this is the same for other technical cameras, you never find one when you want get one, you always have to wait.
