I posted this on LuLa (Cambo Factory Visit) already, but I know that some of you don't make it over that way so I thought I would do a similar post here with some different images from my up coming review.
When I was in Holland a couple of weeks ago, Lance Schad was nice enough to arrange with Rene Rook for me to visit the Cambo factory, where they truly produce, under one roof, a product of Holland.
In these pictures we have a view of the "old" machinery from when they made things by hand...apparently it occasionally gets a work out (emphasis on occasionally), then there is a view of the "vault" where they store and protect their molds (of which there is generally only one) for their products. Then there is an image of the raw material (metal) which will be CNC machined into the Cambo bodies that we know and love, and finally a view of the computer controlling the CNC machine making the parts which we can see in the LuLa post as well.
It will be on my website Brian Hirschfeld Photography within the next couple of days.
Best,
BH
