Hello - I am thinking of getting a relatively simple 100mm square filter set-up.

Any thoughts on specific brands, etc. or alternatives?

Go for glass, I have Haida glass and Nisi holders. For really rough trips I prefer to drop a few Cokin Z pro resin grads in the bag. You can go as expensive as you find, and you can check the antireflective coatings. Mostly resin filters are completely uncoated.

For film or digital? If digital, achromatic (monochromatic) or chromatic sensor?

Having spend $$$$ on filters over the last forty years, some which I never used once, I would suggest to buy second-hand on eBay.

Phase One Achromatic - I changed the title for clarity.

Congrats. This is an exciting DB.

Since I don't have a achromatic/monochromatic back/camera, I rather let others make any recommendations.

If I would have Phase One Achromatic, I certainly would like to explore the netherworld of the visible and invisible (infrared), and hence, would consider 690nm (Wratten 89B) and 720nm (Wratten 88A) filters.
