Hi there, Pieter.
Hi Bart, I mainly use a bright line finder (a Fuji version which has lines for 21 and 28 mm). It's not very accurate but I know how much extra I have approximately to make my composition, and if needed I crop a little on my computer. If I find I need more accurate framing I use the Live View/EVF, but that's probably less than 5% of the cases when I use this lens.Hi there, Pieter.
question regarding the 21/4 lens: do you use a kind of 21mm (bright line) viewfinder or just guesstimate the composition ?
TIA
Kind regards.
I’ve got the 18 sem, my workflow is to use the live view for framing, then regular rangefinder view for a steadier grip if I’m hand holding. If I’m using a tripod then I’ll use live view.Hi Bart, I mainly use a bright line finder (a Fuji version which has lines for 21 and 28 mm). I understand, my arms are too short for Live View as well but the crutch I use are my bi-focal glasses. I still manage to use my rangefinder with glasses on (with a +1 diopter).Mmm, I'd say use OVF (RF) to place your point of focus first and then use LCD (LV) for framing.
My problem: my arms are too short so I need my glasses to read the LCD ...
