Looks like it is at infinity setting. So, not as good as the 45P (and others)....but looks alike the 55V, which is not that bad, after all !!I don't have anything between 21 and 45. Seems worth a try at that price.
MTF chart only shows one focus distance, and doesn't say how far it is. If it's MFD, the plots are good. If it's infinity, not so much. We'll see....
I am told this lens will not begin shipping until after October.
And yes we can take orders for this lens today:

Cancel the trip. How dare you make plans with no 28P in your hands?Well crappola, I leave for the Scottish Highlands 3rd week of October. Guess I will just have to wait and see...
The 90/2.5 isn't late. It simply doesn't exists yet.
I figure charts can only tell you so much, gotta get it out in the field to see what it can actually do.I like the design and price, but If it's not as good optically as my 45P is a no-go for me.
It's nice to see new lenses.
What are the odds that they're releasing an optically poor lens ?I like the design and price, but If it's not as good optically as my 45P is a no-go for me.
My local store says they have it in stock. No funds atm, thoughI am told this lens will not begin shipping until after October.
