Mamiya AF lens error

I bought a mamiya 105-210 f4.5 lens in perfect condition, but when I put it on my Phase One Df+, it doesn't show the diaphragm, it doesn't focus or let me shoot... any suggestions?

Autofocus lever on Df on S or C and not M ? Then cleaning the lens gold plated contacts could be worth a try. Hope you can return it if you have to.

I had to double check my memory, but some of the older legacy lenses required a firmware update for use on future bodies and at least one of the zoom lenses were included in this group. I know the next question might be ... how?? (since Mamiya America Corp no longer services Mamiya).

Thanks for the info !! I already agreed to return the lens! thanks for the link steve, matin was the first thing i did, clean the contacts.
