Nikon Z9 firmware update version 4.10 released : preliminary tests.

Hi,
It adds Birds and Plane subject detections. It doesn't seem to be to the level of the Sony A1, and you need to tell it to go for birds.
Steve found situations where Animal is still better, but it seems to be significantly better in many circumstances.

Steve Perry's review suggest the setting for animals includes birds, but I haven't tried 4.10 yet.

My conclusions are similar to Steve's. In FW 4.10 Auto and Animal SD behave like they still includes the "old" birds algorithm/data - whereas the new Birds SD is a vast step up.
