Tony, I wonder if you had the chance to try the accessory EVF on the GF1 and can then compare IT to the G10 EVF (I really need to read the specs to get an idea too)--and I guess the G1/G2's. For the GF1 I almost always have to check the diopter on the EVF--but I can MF with it quite easily. Its not as good as the G1--but after using it since Sept I don't have any real problems with it. It took me several days to adjust from an OVF to an EVF--but I admit now that I generally prefer my G1's EVF to the OVF on my 5D--for more than one reason.
I don't do 'action'--so that makes a difference, but there is some understanding that the blackout with the EVF has been improved--which of course has nothing to do with 'fuzzy .

Two interesting replies. Thank you.
You talk about the G10 EVF being more of a framing device. Good until you are doing portraits. I would be interested when others catch up with this thread and as to whether they'd be worried about just how 'fuzzy' it is. I actually felt the dioptre adjuster was not working properly on the two camera I tried.
I suppose you could work with the free eye open - but that depends on how you hold the camera.
