Looks like B&H is discounting both cameras between $300-700 dollars. I’m curious to see if this cut becomes permanent. I certainly hope so because then they’d be price more in line with what I expected them to go for.

this is very typical of panasonic!
IMO they sort of had no choice but to cut the price as the Z6 regularly sells for ~$1800, the EOS R price was cut to $2000, andthe A7III hangs around the $1800-2000 range on any given day. On the other end of the spectrum, the Nikon and Sony cameras are significantly less expensive and the price is approaching entry level Fuji GFX territory.

A price cut made/makes sense for a variety of reasons.
