BG38 IR Cut Filter

I've never been fully satisfied with my attempts at visible spectrum after I converted my camera. I'm not sure if I would have better success with the Kolari version of this filter or another slightly different filter type (I've read people also use BG39 and BG40, which have slightly different cutoff curves, not sure what the Kolari is). To my eyes at least, this just doesn't have the same Foveon colors. I've only really played with this a few times though, I suppose I could do a more scientific test at home with a color chart.

I had my dp1 converted to FS by Kolari and I ordered a hot mirror filter from them at the same time so I could switch back to visible when needed. Very close to what I was getting prior to conversion.

Thanks, do you have the original or the 2nd version? Their comparison pics do seem to show a meaningful difference. Maybe I should try the 2nd version.
