Has anyone heard or read anything about Nikon announcing a 70-200 F4 Z in the near future??. The 2.8 is just too expensive and i have no use for the extra stop....

No word on any S 70-200 f4 lens. If you can live with f4.5 - f5.6, IMHO the Fx 75-300 P af at around $500 new is pretty dang great for what it costs.
