Rayyan: +1. What they said. Some of my my most favorite places in the world are in the British Isles! This shot, and the one before it are simply superb. What stunning color. Beautiful image of Istanbul as well. Great work, Rayyan.
Ashwin: I give up! What lens is it? Great break-in cruise! Share some more. Put that point-n-shoot back in your pocket.Hi All,

Osman: Thanks for the info. It must be nice to be surrounded by such a rich and colorful heritage!Rayyan, I agree with Matt; this is spectacular.
Matt, I don't think this is Hagia Sophia. Maybe Suleymaniye, Blue Mosque or Sehzade, I'm not sure. They are constantly being renovated, sometimes towards an unnecessarily standardized look.
Thrice: Well it make for some interesting effects, as long as you're not always downwind.Indeed! Controlled burning South of Perth caused quite a bit of haze (for which the Environmental agency responsible apologised) which lead to some interesting atmospheric conditions. A lot of Australian flora germinates in fire, so forest fires tend to occur frequently naturally, unless they do controlled burnings in the off season.
Jono: Very cool! She certainly seems pleased with it. The red one was a loaner, right? Now you need all of the stuff to tow behind it! Also, congrats on your new printer. I have the 3800 and its excellent. Cheers, MattCongratulations on the new toy Ashwin
I like the grasses shot best I think.
Rayvan - the new Istanbul shots are great
Talking of new toys, I have a new 3880 printer (having retired my ailing 4000). It's lovely to be able to print decent gloss again.
Emma has a new toy as well (it cost about the same as the 3880 printer)
M9 50 'lux
She seems to be pretty pleased about it:

Panda81: Pretty good try! Please consider what i said about Steve's dog portrait applying here, also.
Racefan: Excellent contribution. The window itself would be an interesting photo but the two women dressing the window make it a great capture. Well seen. Excellent composition, IQ, and PP. Cheers, Matt.I've been admiring the photos in this thread for many months and finally have the nerve (beer?) to post a contribution. My first real opportunity to use my new M9 was a vacation trip to Boston this week.
