I have been using the capture group cable for some time now and had occasional errors with the back syncing properly.
On a recent trip, especially on longer exposures, 1/4s or less, it became quite frequent. Particularly when doing LCC's when I had to leave the shutter open longer. On T and B it was even worse.
Luckily, I had my backup, 2 cable solution. I was able to use this with 0 latency as well as the two-push method without any issues. The 0 latency does eat through batteries and I have heard could heat up the back and introduce unwanted noise, although I have not personally done any testing in any controlled sense.
Has anyone experienced this? Just wondering if I have a defective cable or if there is some issue that I am not aware of.
Cheers...
