It's totally possible that I'm an idiot but I couldn't get it to work as of a couple days ago. Also, stuff like no picture or HDMI settings resetting would take place at unpredictable times. :banghead:Is there really no show last captured image option to the hdmi screen?
...and to follow up on the question at the bottom of my review: I did end up switching to an Arca plate (Inovativ makes one that I should have bought if only they'd advertised that they have one, but I used one I had around the gear crib and a couple of fender washers), and equipping the Magic Arm with a cheapass Arca clamp receiver. Makes the whole rig much more convenient and flexible without the DigiBase hanging off the plate all the time--and it saves about a pound and a half.As for mounting, my normal tether arrangement is a MacBook Pro 13 on a Magic Arm + Inovativ DigiPlate Lite. The DP Lite might be a bit excessive for a Surface-style tablet, but for slightly heavier rigs, mine works great. Nice review of the DigiPlate. I'm bummed that the presale support was dismal at best. It sounds like you've made some great solutions for it. Also, to lighten the load even more you could directly screw the DigiPlate to the end of a MagicArm.As for mounting, my normal tether arrangement is a MacBook Pro 13 on a Magic Arm + Inovativ DigiPlate Lite. And what kind of tablet does your picture shows?I usually go straight on the camera with custom mounts. It's more natural to make camera adjustments while looking in the same direction as the camera instead of down at your tripod. Kind of like an 8x10 ground glass.

If you are referring to using HDMI for playback, currently there is no support. Only Live View. Which is a huge oversight as any other camera I know of with HDMI support allows for playback/image review. It just part of the HDMI stream. Is there really no show last captured image option to the hdmi screen?
This is an old iPad Mini on a IQ3. It was just to illustrate mounting a tablet on the Cambo. So, does not run capture one and no the live view does not work with an IQ4.And what kind of tablet does your picture shows?
Does it runs capture one via usb and does the live view works?
Well, you have to admit it gives you a great excuse if you happen to get caught by your wife surfing the porn sites. :ROTFL:I would ask Ken Doo or Don Libby, but first ask them to rename their contraption (Googling it will take you to a variety of NSFW sites). :ROTFL:
With a Intel Pentium 4415Y @ 1.60GHz in the Surface Go, Graham might be waiting about the same amount of time for his images to process as it takes P1 to bring out an IPAD version.. :-DYes, maybe an Ipad version of C1 would be available sometime in the future---but why make Graham Welland wait? :ROTFL:
C'mon, Graham. Surface Go!
Let us know how it works
